A few months ago we announced that Retail inMotion would be partnering with LATAM Airlines to introduce a new onboard retail program for domestic flights in several of the countries they serve.
We’re happy to let you know that so far the roll out is going very well. In fact, just last week we officially rolled-out the new buy-on-board program for LATAM Airlines in Chile – one of the airline’s major markets. To date, the airline’s new program, called ‘Mercado‘, has been introduced on their domestic flights in Columbia, Peru and Chile. Next stop? Argentina.
Our team in Latin America has been busy over the past few weeks working to make sure the introduction of onboard retail for LATAM Airlines has been as smooth as possible. We’ve been training the crews, prepping devices with our vPOS system and organizing the logistics behind getting the products on board.
