Retail inMotion Secures Key Certifications, Enhancing Security

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of two crucial certifications: ISO27001 and PCI DSS. These certifications are essential to our commitment to delivering industry-leading security and trust!

ISO/IEC 27001: 2022 Certification

ISO/IEC 27001 is the global standard for information security management systems. This year, we updated from the 2013 version to the 2022 version, further strengthening our security measures.

PCI DSS v4.0 Certification

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) protects cardholder data. We have upgraded from version 3.2.1 to the latest v4.0, ensuring our vPay solution meets the highest security standards.

These certifications are vital for our operations. PCI DSS is essential for our vPay solution, ensuring the protection of payment information. ISO27001 demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding customer data.

Achieving these certifications involves significant effort! Our Information Security Officer, Cillian Smyth, along with Information Security Analysts Mary Moss and Laurence McEnery, have been instrumental in this process. They handle all aspects of the certifications, from preparing for audits to ensuring year-round compliance. The audits are extensive, taking several weeks to complete.
