On November 21, 2019, Retail inMotion celebrated the very first Crew Service Award Gala for SunExpress Germany at the Jumeirah Hotel in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Special guests Peter Glade, Commercial Director of SunExpress, Christina Meier, Senior Manager Cabin Management and Nicole Haginger, Senior Manager Product & Service, were in attendance to recognize and congratulate the honorees for their hard work. The event was moderated by José Lirio Silva, Head of Onboard Retail Europe for Retail inMotion, who, with Retail inMotion’s Patrick Heitmeyer, Crew Engagement Manager Europe, and Sven Meissner, Key Account Manager SunExpress, revealed the Top 5 crews and honored them for their great service performance. Following the gala dinner and award ceremony, guests were invited to the hotel’s exclusive lounge to enjoy live music, socialize and dance.
There were 23 SunExpress crew members in attendance, five of whom took home the top prizes, namely:
- 1st place: 1000€ travel voucher
- 2nd place: Apple iPad
- 3rd place: 250€ Amazon voucher
- 4th place: Fossil watch
- 5th place: Versace Miniature Collection fragrance set
“This year’s ‘Crew Service Challenge’ was a huge success. Just to give you an example,109 crew member joined the current challenge with a total number of 431 collection cards over four challenge rounds! Therefore, the first event of its kind for SunExpress crew was all about celebrating the crew,” commented Sven Meissner. “We are looking forward to next year’s event!”
Retail inMotion is looking forward to continuing this crew incentive program in 2020.
