Retail inMotion and SunExpress win „Best Onboard Beverage” at 2020 Onboard Hospitality Awards

Sustainability has many facets and we, at Retail inMotion, are embracing it in as many aspects of our business as possible. We are beyond thrilled to accept the “Best Onboard Beverage” Award at 2020 Onboard Hospitality Awards for Sprout Spoon, a 100% biodegradable spoon and tea bag in one that we are offering in collaboration with SunExpress.

Sprout Spoon allows guests onboard of SunExpress flights out of Germany to enjoy a cup of tea and save the environment with every sip. Sprout Spoon has been included in the new category for the SunExpress Catalogue Winter 2019/2020, “We Care”, which aims to offer passenger an assortment of products with a sustainable character (be it ecological, social etc.). The products listed on the “We Care” page change on a regular basis due to seasonality and market trends.

Sprout Spoon is a multi-functional tea solution comprising a foldable spoon, tea bag and stirrer in one. To use it, all you have to do is unfold and brew it in hot water for a cup of delicious tea. After use, the ‘squeeze and drip-free function’ means no additional napkin is required. The product is served in a Sprout-branded recyclable paper cup.

All the aspects of this revolutionary tea spoon are designed to leave no trace on the environment as the product is fully biodegradable. Sprout Spoon helps cut both costs and waste, and offers passengers aboard SunExpress flights an item that enables them to make a positive contribution to the world.
