It has been nearly a year since we became a fully-integrated member of the LSG Group. Since that time, we’ve been taking major steps to expand our business and bring our innovative, industry-leading solutions and products to the global travel retail market.
It’s not a secret that many airlines across the world are transforming their business models from traditional airline catering to onboard retail / buy-on-board models. That’s exactly where Retail inMotion specializes. We’ve got the IT solutions, products, experience and expertise to work with both legacy carriers that are changing their inflight service models and low-cost carriers that want a better customer experience and improved bottom line.
One of the ways we’re making sure that we consistently have the right people, team and set up is by regularly bringing together our global onboard retail experts. We may be based in Dublin, but we’ve got more than 130 employees all over the place – like in Germany, Turkey, USA, Mexico, Italy, Spain, UK, Lithuania and even Hong Kong.
Our first kick-off meeting took place this past summer when a team from both the LSG Group and Retail inMotion came together at Hangar 57.
What was on the agenda? Well, we took it as a chance to further discuss and define our company’s global onboard retail strategy moving forward. It also allowed us to introduce ourselves a bit more to our (then) new colleagues at the LSG Group.
