Retail inMotion (Ireland) Limited has published its Gender Pay Gap Report 2025.
In our second year of reporting, the report shows that our female employees are well represented throughout the business, despite an overall male majority, especially in tech roles in the upper quartiles.
The gender pay gap is a mean of 11.98% when we look at the organisation across each of the quartiles, an increase on the 2024 mean of 7.71%, caused by several factors, including a collective redundancy and the addition of new senior male hires.
In the reporting period, bonuses were paid to 99 employees, with the mean favouring male employees, impacted again by the same factors as above, due to bonus payments being a percentage of salary.
The take up rate of Benefits in Kind (Health Insurance) is similar across the business for male and female employees, with this benefit offered to all permanent staff.
As an equal opportunities’ employer, Retail inMotion is dedicated to eliminating the gender pay gap. The reporting period was heavily impacted by a collective redundancy process that did not allow for other initiatives to be pursued. We are confident that closing the gap reported for Ireland is achievable with our renewed strategy.
