We hear that our future’s looking bright, but we think that our past looks really great too. Today is the one year anniversary of Retail inMotion becoming a member of the LSG Group. They say that the first full year of a partnership is the “paper anniversary”. If that’s true, we’ve filled up the entire page with milestones.
Over the past year, Retail inMotion has grown very quickly. We now provide our industry-leading IT solutions & products to over 30 airline customers. In fact, our IT software suite – Vector – is now used on almost 10% of flights globally with over 90,000 cabin crew using Retail inMotion payment software. Chances are that you’ve already bought something using our Point of Sale devices. Our Onboard Retail division manages retail programs for airlines across the world, with many more to launch in 2017.
Last year we sold more than 2 million packs of Boxerchips to hungry and appreciative passengers across Europe. In the year ahead, we’re planning to take our delicious potato chips to passengers across the world. In 2016, around 6 million people sipped freshly-brewed ground filter coffee through our SuprLids. We’re poised to help even more people perk up in 2017.
We’re proud of what we have accomplished over the past year, but we’re not finished. We’ve organized ourselves for the future and we’re ready to hit the global market. In fact, we’ve already started! A few weeks ago we officially set up our fully-qualified team in Dallas, Texas to serve the North American market. We’re also hiring new employees across the globe – in countries like Ireland, Germany, USA, Chile and Italy.
You could definitely say that our future is looking bright at Retail inMotion – but, luckily, we’ve already got our shades handy from last year.
