You might have seen that Retail inMotion will be exhibiting at the Aviation Festival in London later this week. While we are really looking forward to the event, it will be the grand finale in what has been quite a bit of preparation.
I’m working on Retail inMotion’s IT Commercial team and have been steering the prep for this festival for the past several months. That said, I’d like to give you a little insight into what we’ve got in store for our guests later in the week.
This year will be the first time that Retail inMotion has participated in this particular exhibition, so we made the decision to go with a conservative, cozy presence. (Also read: a size-efficient booth!) I have worked very closely with our in-house design team to create a design for our stand that embodies the look and feel of Retail inMotion and appropriately highlights each of the company’s three business streams (Onboard Retail, Technology, and Retail Products).
We will have an interactive touchscreen to demonstrate our vPOS solution to those who stop by our stand. We can’t wait to show you the solution that is used by 100,000+ crews around the world to capture sales and payments in the sky.
Did you know that we have a little bit of a reputation for larger-than-life touchscreens at exhibitions? Check out our screen from this year’s WTCE (World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo) in Hamburg, Germany:
We’ve got a diverse delegation from our team at the event this year – our CEO Stefan Patermann, Jan Blanchard and James Kelly from our IT Commercial team, Joe Harvey from our Duty Free team and, of course, yours truly. We will also be handing out complimentary Lavazza coffee with our SuprLID solution at the networking area. Conference guests will get a real taste of the freshly brewed coffee that can be consumed on board.
Keep an eye on our social media pages later this week to get a look at how the festival is going and to see our final design for the booth. If you are attending the event, we look forward to meeting you at Stand 95.
Lauren Reilly joined Retail inMotion earlier this year as an IT Sales & Account Manager on our IT Commercial team. That means she spends her days scouring the industry looking for new business opportunities for the Retail inMotion technology suite and enabling our customers to make best use of Retail inMotion technology.
