A few years ago, Sky Airline made the decision to transition their service model to an onboard retail concept. At the time, Retail inMotion was given the opportunity to implement our proprietary technology to support the airline’s new program.
During the transition phase, we were able to support Sky Airline in several different ways. We provided engaging crew training on sales techniques, implemented an onboard credit card payment solution and, most notably, introduced our efficient and user-friendly vPOS technology.
We’re proud today to share with you the latest results of this fruitful partnership: Last month, we successfully launched a new menu with Sky that allows their passengers to purchase non-food items (like external batteries, earplugs and beauty products) on board. It’s a first for Sky Airline and has made a huge impact in further enhancing their unique onboard experience.
“Retail inMotion is proud of having supported Sky Airline on their change of business model,” says Fabricio Ferreira, Head of Onboard Retail LAM at Retail inMotion. “We will continue to work alongside Sky Airline to further develop their onboard retail program, bringing both innovative and exciting solutions for their passengers and efficiency to their operation.”
